BREAKING NEWS: Collision leaves biker injured
The driver was treated for serious injuries at the scene and taken to hospital for further medical care.
NEWCASTLE – A motorcyclists sustained serious injuries after a collision with a bakkie at the intersection of Kirkland and Ayliff streets, at about 7.30am this morning.
Myra van der Merwe of Trivs Medical Services, said when paramedics arrived on scene, they found a male patient who had sustained serious injuries.
“The patient was stabilised on scene; Advanced Life Support interventions were used and the patient was transported to hospital for further treatment.”
The cause of the collision is unclear at this stage and remains subject to police investigations.
