Ladysmith Secondary School hosts concert at Civic Hall

The school was able to unearth the talent of many a learner and the night saw 7 dramatic presentations interspersed with song and dance

To bring the curtain down after a five-week orientation programme for the Grade 8 learners of 2017, Ladysmith Secondary School (Lasec) hosted a concert that filled the Civic Hall to capacity on Thursday, February 16.
The school was able to unearth the talent of many a learner and the night saw seven dramatic presentations interspersed with song and dance. The show was refreshing, different and most of all provided a platform for over 200 learners.
The parents were  full of praise for the educators of the Grade 8 prefects and the JRC members. In the words of many: “I felt so proud to see my child on stage.”
The Grade 8 learners of Lasec now appear more confident and determined to take on the long haul of high school.
