BREAKING NEWS: Morning collision injures three people

The three women were treated on scene for their injuries.

Three people have been injured after two cars collided in Scott Street, Newcastle CBD at around 9am this morning [March 3].

One of the vehicles involved in the collision.

Operational Manger of TRIVS Medical Services, Jan-Henk van Vuuren said two women sustained serious injuries, and one woman sustained moderate injuries.

Both vehicles were severely damaged.

Patients were treated on scene, before being taken to hospital for further medical care.

The exact cause of the collision is still unclear at this stage and remains subject to police investigations.
