Khan sinks hole-in-one as Dundee golfers contest finals

A hole-in-one by A. Khan was among the highlights as Dundee Country Club hosted its season finals on Saturday.

A total of 37 golfers competed in favourable conditions across two divisions as the club brought another successful season to a close.

Top golfers shine in season finale

The club thanked PR Mining and all sponsors for their continued support. Appreciation was also extended to Jo Khumalo and the course staff for preparing the course, the bar and cleaning staff for their efforts, Sandy and her team for the catering, and the Pro Shop staff for their assistance throughout the event.

In the qualified division, A. Valli claimed first place with 42 points, followed by I. Adam on 40 points and B. Rasool on 39 points.

The non-qualified division was won by S. Mkaliphi on 40 points. S. Adalis secured second place on a count-out from W. Bezuidenhout after both players finished on 38 points.

Khan’s hole-in-one came on the fourth hole. Other nearest-the-pin winners were W. Bezuidenhout on hole eight, B. Meyer on hole 12 and I. Adam on hole 16.
