Not only are thousands of homes without water, but schools as well

Residents receiving water from the Ezakheni Water Plant have been affected.
The community at large are questioning whether uThukela employees are able do to their jobs properly.
“Having water cuts so regularly makes me wonder: Do uThukela know what the hell they are doing? Surely these interruptions could cause damage to water pipelines?” asked one frustrated mother.
Not only are thousands of homes without water, but schools as well.
During the last water cuts, which lasted about four days, schools were forced to send the children home.
Local primary schools that are affected this time around will not be sending the children home early due to first term tests.
