Roadblocks were held on Tuesday morning last week along Helpmekaar Road by police and Public Safety officers.
The officers were checking for outstanding warrants, illegal firearms, drunk driving and other offences.
The heat did not seem to matter to these dedicated officers, as they were determined to make sure that the rules of the road were obeyed.

A bag of dagga was seized by the officers at the roadblock.
These roadblocks serve as a reminder that motorists should adhere to the rules of the road at all times and practice safe driving behaviour. Otherwise, you will find yourself on the wrong side of the law!
