
Four housebreakers appeared in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court on Monday, March 13, after being arrested the previous Friday.
They face charges of several street robberies, house break-ins and house robberies that have occurred recently in the Convent and Egerton Road areas.

The suspects have been remanded into custody and are to appear in court again on Monday, March 20, for a formal bail application.
The men are aged between 21 and 38 years old.
One suspect was initially arrested in Illing Road on a warrant of arrest for a housebreaking case which occurred in August 2015. The man was spotted by vigilant police officers.
This led to three others in the same case also being arrested.
