Actor, Thami Afrika, was back home in Dundee today, visiting Dundee Secondary where he handed out trophies to students who competed in the Ayoba Football tournament on Monday and also put some of the eager learners through their acting paces.

Thami Afrika is a South African actor best known for his role as Mandla, a lawyer, on the SABC3 soap opera Isidingo. He also had a starring role as Zweli Sokhulu, a lawyer who owns a practice with his brother, in the SABC1 drama series Sokhulu & Partners, from 2008-2011.

The Courier’s Hlengiwe Makhoba and Fathima Zubane, were also thrilled to meet the modest actor when he popped into the Courier offices!
