LENNOXTON – Residents recently took to social media, expressing their concerns about the increase in theft from vehicles in Fernwood and Lennoxton.
Police Communication Liaison and Marketing Officer, Lizzy Arumugam gave the assurance that police were investigating the cases and patrolling the areas, but she could not confirm the number of thefts reported.
To date, no suspects have been arrested.
Further vehicle-related thefts occurred in Pioneer Park, where a resident’s motorcycle was stolen. A resident in Boundary Road, Lennoxton, was also a victim of crime when his vehicle’s tyres were stolen in February.
