Residents of Limit Hill live in constant fear of the dangerous animals they may encounter in their yards, as long grass and reeds grow right behind their houses.
The reeds haven’t been cut since last year and residents feel that the municipality has turned a blind eye to the problem.
The reeds are taking over, growing so high that you cannot see anything beyond them. The reeds are situated in a swamp-like area and residents fear that the creatures living in the “swamp” will make their way into their yards.

“It’s not safe anymore for children to play in the yard due to the reeds that have grown so tall. We also have pets and we fear that snakes will pop out of these reeds and cause more trouble than there already is.
“Just last week, a lady walking down the street was robbed of her handbag and the perpetrators were hiding in these very reeds,” said a concerned homeowner.
Residents feel that the municipality only acts when something goes horribly wrong. The whole Limit Hill area has reeds and grass growing all over the place, leaving people vulnerable to crime. Residents desperately urge the municipality to act, and fast, to stop any tragedies from happening.
