A 37-year-old man has been arrested by Ladysmith police for being in possession of dagga.
The man was arrested late Tuesday afternoon (March 28) in the Hobsland area near Ladysmith.

He was found in possession of several bags of dagga.
Officers received a tip-off and rushed out to the area, where the man was caught unawares.
The recovered drugs weighed in at 307kg, with an estimated street value of a whopping R500,000.
The suspect is expected to make an appearance in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court today (March 30). He faces a charge of being in possession of dagga.
