MADADENI – Two men aged 30 and 31 years respectively, were each sentenced in the Madadeni Regional Court to life imprisonment and an additional five years for kidnapping and the murder of a 20-year-old man, which occurred in oSizweni on October 2015.
According to police reports, the perpetrators took the victim a secluded area where they brutally assaulted him and left him for dead.
Police and ambulance were summoned to the scene, and took the man to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
KwaZulu-Natal Acting Provincial Commissioner, Major General Bheki Langa commended the investigating officers.
