This afternoon (April 9) saw water being restored to homes in Aloe Park and surrounding areas.
People in these areas have been without water since yesterday morning, and complained to the Ladysmith Gazette that uThukela is unreliable.
The reason for the water outage was evidently that uThukela was experiencing problems at the Abattoir Hill booster pump station.
