Fast-acting armed reaction security officers responded after an alarm was triggered
A funeral parlour was broken into this afternoon (April 13) in Poort Road.
Fast-acting armed reaction security officers responded after an alarm was triggered.
On arrival, security officers noticed that one of the windows in the front entrance had been smashed.

Minutes later, elite K9 Unit officers joined the security personnel.
The team, along with K9 sniffer dog Rampoker, entered the building to search for the suspect/s. Rampoker, led by the team of officers, sniffed and searched through the building.
It does not appear as if anything was stolen.
Police are investigating a case of housebreaking.
