
Police comprising the Ladysmith K9 Unit, Upper Tugela SAPS as well as Uthukela Crime Intelligence Gathering Unit pounced on a residence in the Ngoba area of Upper Tugela. The a 36-year-old woman was found in possession of dagga.

The 750kg of dagga has an estimated street value of a whopping R1.5 million.
The woman appeared in the Bergville Magistrates court recently. She was found guilty and ordered to pay a fine of R500 or spend 50 days imprisonment.
