Man gets 10 years for raping sister

A 27-year-old Bhekuzulu resident faces the next 10 years behind bars after being found guilty of raping his sister.
The sentence was handed down at the Vryheid Regional Court on April 6.
Police said the victim had asked her brother to accompany her to Ncedisi Tavern in Bhekuzulu on New Years day. On their way to the tavern, the man had grabbed his sister around the neck and forced her into the bushes at knife-point, where he raped her before running off.
