
A Glencoe woman charged with murdering her husband has been granted bail, along with her co-accused who is also her cousin.
Monira Moothi (32), a mother of two, and Afzal Hassan (43), were each given R1000 bail when they appeared in the Glencoe Magistrate’s Court on a charge of murdering Mrs Moothi’s husband, Daniel Pires (34), after a domestic dispute at their Schroeders Road home on March 12.
A pair of scissors was used to stab Mr Pires in the neck and head.
The pair will both appear again on May 15
