Vehicle thief sentenced to four years’ imprisonment in Ladysmith

Investigations revealed that the vehicle was stolen in Brixton, Jo'burg

22-year-old Sanele Sifiso Mkhonza will spend the next four years in prison for vehicle theft.

During November last year, Mkhonza was found in possession of a stolen Toyota Tazz.

He was found driving the vehicle in the Ladysmith area.

Investigations revealed that the vehicle was stolen in Brixton, Johannesburg, two days prior to his arrest.

He was charged for theft and recently stood trial in the Ladysmith Regional Court, where he was found guilty and sentenced to four years behind bars.

Constable PPS Dlamini was the arresting officer as well as the investigating officer in the case.
