Vehicles trying to come into town on the N11 are piled up past Modelkloof, as the taxi protest continues.
Police and Public Safety are on scene, and waiting for reinforcements.
Traffic is at a standstill at the moment and Ezakheni is effectively under siege.
The protest follows the confiscation of taxis from Uitvaal, Umhlumayo and Ezakheni that had no permit to be on the road. The remainder of the taxi drivers are now protesting against the confiscation.

Drivers blocked off the road to Ezakheni at the Pieters turn-off, at the Limit Hill robots and now also in Steadville.
Motorists are warned to stay clear.
