Crime prevention patrol reaps success
Upon returning to the vehicle, police discovered 11 plastic bags filled with dagga, which weighed about 100kg
Ematsheni police held a crime prevention patrol on April 27, which saw them recover 100kg of dagga in the area.
At about 1am the police noticed a suspicious Uno driving about in Ematsheni. They requested that the driver stop the vehicle but instead the driver raced off.
A police officer chased after them but the suspects abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot into the dark and bushy mountains.
Upon returning to the vehicle, police discovered 11 plastic bags filled with dagga, which weighed about 100kg. The bags of dagga has a street value of more than R150 000.
