Two days after the Ladysmith Show (Monday, May 8), municipal workers at the show grounds saw two huge trucks loaded with Fiat bakkies. The vehicles were dropped off at the Indoor Sports Complex.
As the truck drivers quickly made their way into the complex, they damaged the gates in the process.
After off-loading the bakkies, the truck drivers fled. The vehicles were abandoned at the complex, later to be identified by police.

At this time, no arrests have been made.
