Dannhauser – Police arrested a 55-year-old man from Annieville farm for the possession of an unlicensed firearm on May 13.
According to police reports, it is alleged the suspect was shooting his firearm at weekends at his residence.
Newcastle POP Unit was summoned at around 11.15pm and a 9mm pistol and 16 rounds of ammunition were found, along with an expired firearm licence.
The suspect will appear in court soon and investigations continue.
