A house in Tanjore Road was broken into last night (May 20) in yet another attempted robbery in the street.
The suspects managed to break a window and the burglar bars, and gained access to the house.
However, as soon as they entered the house, the alarm was triggered and they fled.
The homeowners were not at home at the time of the break-in.
Nothing was taken from the house.

Police, including Dog Unit officers, and armed response security companies responded to the scene in Tanjore Road.
The house was searched by police to make sure that none of the suspects were still inside.
Police are investigating a case of attempted house robbery.
Numerous house robberies and attempted house robberies have taken place in Tanjore Road over the last few months, with this being the latest in the disturbing trend.
