Teaming up again to help Ladysmith community

Lasec would like to remind the community that it's not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving

A group of determined Ladysmith Secondary School (Lasec) learners, along with educator Mr K Bihaspat, made their way to Grace Family Church on May 12 and 14, where lunch packs consisting of two sandwiches with assorted fillings, fruit and pure juice was distributed to 50 community members in celebration of Mother’s Day.

The food and juice was all sponsored and prepared by the Royal Hotel.

Thereafter, the Royal Hotel provided mouth-watering creamy soup and bread to Isiqophamithi Primary School.

Special mention needs to be made of Mr Richard Lee and his wife, Mrs Lee, from the Royal Hotel, as it is through their unstinting generosity that these projects are funded and sustained.

A special word of thanks also goes out to Mr Nadesan, head chef at Royal Hotel, and his wonderful kitchen staff for the preparation of all the meals that reach their various destinations.

Lasec would also like to remind the community that it’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving, because we make a living by what we get and we make a life by what we give.
