Following robbery cases reported to police during the course of last week, two suspects have been arrested.
On Tuesday (May 16), a 16-year old was accosted by two suspects who were armed with a knife. They robbed the child of a cell-phone and cash.
The incident happened while the teenager was on the way to school in the Egerton area. Other children have also come forward since the arrests to report being robbed.

The suspects were arrested on Thursday after police conducted crime prevention activities targeting this type of crime.
The two suspects, aged 21 and 24, are still in custody and an identity parade will be held this week to allow police to proceed with their investigation into the robberies.
