Baby girl strangled to death and left at Ladysmith dump site

This is the second reported case of a baby found dead and dumped at the dump site this year

A baby’s tiny body was found earlier today (May 24) at the Acaciavale dump site.

Police were notified and responded to the scene.

When police arrived, they found the body of a baby girl, believed to be less than a month old.

The baby had been strangled to death with a cable tie, which was still tied around the baby girl’s neck.

Clothing was found next to the body and could be related to the crime.

The baby was wrapped in a yellow article of clothing.

MLM (Medic-Legal-Mortuary) also responded to the scene at the dump site.
