The two men charged for the brutal murder of Mrs Zarina Moolla made an appearance in the Ezakheni Regional Court this morning (May 25).
The suspects appeared before the magistrate and their case was remanded to June 6 for further investigation.
Just after the murder, an intelligence-driven operation led by police resulted in a quick breakthrough in the case.
Two men who live in Gumtree Road were arrested days after the murder.
Zarina Moola was found dead by her domestic worker in her home in Gumtree Road, Smartiesville, during the Holy Month of Ramadaan. The elderly woman was found in her bed with multiple stab wounds. It appears that she was asleep when her attackers brutally murdered her.
