Astro challenge for NRS hockey players
It was a challenge for the children to play on astro but, at the same time, it was a huge learning curve for them.
LAST weekend, four of our boys and six of our girls hockey players traveled to Pietermaritzburg to play for the respective u/12 and u/13 Zululand District teams.
The u/13 boys were David Minlah, Abdul Ghaffar, Siyabonga Cebekhulu and Yanetso Selepe. Of the girls, Robyn Conibear and Marla Janse van Rensburg represented the u/13 Zululand District team, while Anele Mdlalose, Minette van der Merwe, Nikita Hughes and Okuhle Khoza played for the u/12 team. This tournament served as trials for the KZN Inland team. It was a challenge for our children to play on astro but, at the same time, it was a huge learning curve for them. They learned team building skills and thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Thank you to Mrs C Nigrini and Miss S Vretencic who accompanied our children.

Mini-sporttoernooi: Verlede Woensdag het ons o/7 en o/8 hokkie-, netbal- en rugbyspelers aan die mini-sporttoernooi by Lucas Meyer deelgeneem. Ons kinders het hulle wedstryde in ‘n ontspanne, vriendskaplike atmosfeer gespeel en die middag terdeë geniet. Baie dankie aan Lucas Meyer vir ‘n goed georganiseerde toernooi.
