A local doctor was attacked and robbed at his home last night (May 29) in Ruby Gailey Drive.
The doctor was alone at home when he was caught by surprise by three intruders.
The robbers used a pipe to hit the doctor on the head and legs, forcing him to drop to the floor.

They then ransacked the house, stealing a plasma TV and other electrical appliances. After taking what they wanted, the robbers fled the scene.
Police and other emergency personnel were informed, and the doctor was privately taken to hospital.
