A house robbery took place yesterday afternoon (May 29) at a residence on a small holding just outside Ladysmith.
It is alleged that four men entered the premises, pretending to be looking for employment.
They produced knives and forced their way into the house, where they held up the owner as well as her helper.

The men made off with cash, jewellery, a firearm and cell-phones.
Reports are that no injuries were sustained.
Ladysmith detectives are investigating a case of house robbery.
