Ladysmith Secondary School (Lasec) educator Mr K Bihaspat, along with a group of learners, once again reached out to the community when they visited ML Sultan Primary School and Môrester Children’s Home on Wednesday and Thursday last week. ML Sultan learners were treated to some delicious hot soup, once again prepared by and sponsored by the Royal Hotel.

This partnership between Lasec and Royal Hotel is proving to be beneficial to those in the community who most need help.

The initiative saw 40 much-needed lunch packs being distributed among the youngsters at Môrester Kinderhuis.

The success of this drive must be attributed to key individuals who have pledged their support and dedication.

Mr and Mrs Lee (Royal Hotel) and the co-ordinators have worked hand-in-hand to extend this gesture of humanity.

The team at Lasec feel strongly about their community outreaches, as only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.
