DANNHAUSER – A 15-year-old teenager was arrested for murdering her grandmother’s boyfriend while under the influence of alcohol on June 11.
Dannhauser SAPS Corporate Communications Officer, Sergeant M.L Nyembe, said the murder occurred at Goodwin farm in Dannhauser at around 2.30am.
The 55-year-old victim was asleep when he was awoken by the teenager, who demanded he leave the house.
“The teenager then allegedly took a knife and started stabbing him several times in the head and chest.”
The exact motive for the murder remains unclear at this stage, and will remain subject to police investigations.
