
Dannhauser – Police have successfully arrested and charged a man for the brutal murder of 25-year-old Nathi Vilakazi.
The incident occurred on May 14 at Kiel-Kiel Farm.
Dannhauser SAPS Communications Officer, Sergeant M. Nyembe, said it seemed like the deceased was brutally murdered and dumped in an open field.
His body was found the next morning.
“The deceased was stabbed nine times and his intestines were found outside his body. His throat was also slit open.”
“Furthermore, it seems like the motive for the murder was robbery related.”
The 31-year-old suspect appeared in the Dannhauser Magistrate’s Court on June 8.
In conclusion, Dannhauser SAPS Acting Station Commander, Captain A. Vilakazi, applauded the detective team led by Sergeant B. Mbatha.
“This team made sure no stone was left unturned in order to serve justice in this case,” Vilakazi concluded.
