Well done to Newcastle High School’s volleyball teams

The girls and boys teams each faced three opposing teams, to determine whether or not they qualified for the selections.

Newcastle High School’s volleyball teams recently participated in the district selections, in order to compete in the upcoming provincial selections.

The girls and boys teams each faced three opposing teams, to determine whether or not they qualified for the selections.

While the girls team fell away in the first round, the boys team made it to the finals. Despite the boys team losing the final match, Donell van der Plank and Marlan Govender were both selected to represent KwaZulu-Natal in the provincial selections.

Newcastle High School wishes them all the best, and look forward to hearing how far they progress in volleyball.
