Lasec and local hotel work hand-in-hand to help the community

"This marks outreach number 188 for the year"

Co-ordinator Mr K Bihaspat and a team from Ladysmith Secondary School (Lasec) once again reached out to the community when they visited Esifubeni Primary School. 180 children from the school were treated to some delicious creamy butternut soup and bread, once again prepared and sponsored by the Royal Hotel.

The Royal Hotel also provided sandwich platters with assorted fillings to members of the Ladysmith Secondary support staff.

The success of this drive must be attributed to key individuals who have pledged their support and dedication. Mr and Mrs Lee (Royal Hotel) and the kitchen staff from the hotel have worked hand-in-hand to extend this gesture of humanity.

“The act of kindness and thoughtfulness cannot be measured or quantified, hence we at Lasec are indeed honoured, humbled and truly blessed through your immense gesture to people of the community.

“Our desire is to acknowledge you – Royal Hotel – and give you the highest accolade.

“Together, may we define more projects and expand the heart of all humanity, as this marks outreach number 188 for the year,” said Mr K Bihaspat.
