Watch: Snake man flagged down on roadside to remove snake from Ladysmith home

He safely removed the snake without any danger to the residents or the snake itself

A big Brown House Snake was found recently in a home in Hollyhock Avenue.

The residents saw the snake enter their home while they were watching television in their TV room.

They did not have snake man Fanie Cilliers’ number… However, as fate would have it, they were lucky to spot Fanie on the road the very next day while he was driving his children to school.

The homeowners quickly flagged Fanie down… He stopped immediately and they told him to come find the snake as soon as he had dropped his children off at school.

Fanie went back to the house and managed to find the “intruder” within minutes.

He moved the TV cabinet and what do you know, the Brown House Snake was there!

Fanie with the snake

He safely removed the snake without any danger to the residents or the snake itself.

Fanie has released the snake away from town on a farm so that it will not come in contact with people.
