High school helps other learners in the Ladysmith community
Lasec team visits crèche and primary school to give back to the community

Last Tuesday (June 27) saw educator Mr K Bihaspat reach out to 40 students from Siyakhula Crèche. The distribution entailed a lunch pack consisting of sandwiches, fruit and juice, prepared and sponsored by the Royal Hotel.
Continuing to give back to the community, the same dedicated team from Ladysmith Secondary School (Lasec) visited Esibufeni Primary School the following day (June 28), where 180 learners from the school were treated to some hot, delicious, mouth-watering vegetable soup and bread, which was sponsored and prepared by the Royal Hotel .
The spirit of goodwill was definitely shared by all those involved, which makes projects of this nature so rewarding.
Special mention needs to be made of Mr Richard Lee and his wife, Mrs Lee, from the Royal Hotel, as it is through their unstinting generosity that these projects are funded and sustained.
A special word of thanks also goes out to the kitchen staff for the preparation of all the meals that reach their various destinations.
Lasec would like to remind the community that it’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving because we make a living by what we get and we make a life by what we give.
