On June 21, the St Greg‘s grade ones set out on their excursion filled with great excitement and anticipation. They visited the Waffle Hut on the R600 just outside Winterton.
The learners enjoyed a round of putt-putt and thoroughly enjoyed learning the technique and art of the putting game. Mr Jordaan tried his hand at the game and enjoyed putting around the course with the learners.

They had an opportunity to play on the grass and climb on the jungle gym. The learners had a ball. After working up an appetite, the learners were treated to a delicious waffle, with surprise toppings such as Smarties, Jelly Tots and Astros, as well as a milkshake to quench their thirst and fill their little tummies.
The learners loved the surprise and enjoyed the treats immensely. Thank you to Di and her team at the Waffle Hut for making the visit a memorable and delicious one. The school will definitely be back for more.
