3: Demanding speed humps after child is knocked down in Ladysmith street

People living in Burma Road are complaining about the lack of speed humps in the street. A child was recently hit by a vehicle, sustaining head injuries. Residents say this is a serious matter as this is an area that has not one but TWO schools, yet there are no speed humps at all.

4: Hong Kong seizes 7.2 tonnes of ivory

The 7200 kilogramme (16,000 pound) haul was hidden underneath frozen fish and raised suspicions because of the high transportation fees listed on the bill of import. Customs officials in the southern Chinese city said the cargo had come from Malaysia and was believed to have been the work of a major smuggling ring.

5: Elon Musk’s Tesla to build world’s largest battery in Australia

The region was hit with a total blackout when an “unprecedented” storm wrecked power transmission towers in 2016, and billionaire Musk in March offered to help with a battery farm. “This system will be three times more powerful than any system on earth,” Musk told reporters in the state capital Adelaide.
