Glencoe residents warned of water cuts

Both reservoirs are currently empty

Glencoe residents should brace themselves for water cuts after a main line water burst.  Umzinyathi District Municipality reported that the main water line from the Biggarsberg Water Treatment Plan to the Glencoe reservoirs had ruptured.

A team from uThukela Water, Newcastle, is presently carrying out urgent repairs.  Both the Glencoe and Marikana (feeding Sithembile) are empty.
