AbaQulusi’s peace march postponed to this Thursday
The aim of the march is for locals to stand together in the fight against women and child abuse.

AbaQulusi Municipality is inviting community members to a peace march that will now be held on August 10.
The aim of the march is for locals to stand together in the fight against women and child abuse.
“It would be highly appreciated if councillors could convey the message to their community members to attend in their numbers to help us take a stand against the recent violence that has been aimed at our women,” said AbaQulusi’s speaker, Cllr Michael Khumalo.
The march will start at 10am from Church Street in front of the Klipkerk and will head down to the Mason Park where members from various departments will touch base on how AbaQulusi can stand together as a community and protect its women and children.
Two taxis will be sent out to fetch people from each ward and community members should get in touch with their ward councillors for more information.
