Ferrum High School, hosted a Mud Challenge on Saturday, August 5.
The idea was inspired by the well known and popular Jeep Warrior Race. Last year was a great success and this year the event certainly proved to be bigger and better.
The first race kicked off at 8am, which entailed a 5 kilometre track on the school’s sports fields with about 20 obstacles in between.
These obstacles included mud-pits that participants has to get through.
Members could participate in three categories:
– Serious
– Junior and,
– Fun.
Great prizes were up for grabs as mud busters conquered the mud challenge and raced towards the finish line.
