There is no need for alarm; these Badgers have two legs and are a group of fun-loving learners from Estcourt Christian Academy (ECA).

The Badgers group (or clan as it is known), is an after school club for grade four to seven learners.

The children are given the opportunity to learn self-reliance, leadership, co-operation and develop confidence and self-esteem.

All these are developed through planned activities based on a programme where they can earn badges. These can then be proudly worn on their Badgers shirt.

They participate in team games and often the afternoon finishes with a campfire, where a chat about the afternoon takes place along with a song or two!
