The dogs eventually separated, with the crossbreed sustaining numerous puncture wounds and bite marks to the neck

A male pit bull brutally killed a crossbreed dog after a fight broke out between the 2 dogs on Thursday (August 17).

The noise of barking dogs was heard in the area and residents came out of their homes upon hearing the commotion.

They all tried to separate the dogs, but in vain, as the pit bull would not let go.

The dogs eventually separated, with the crossbreed sustaining numerous puncture wounds and bite marks to the neck.

The crossbreed dog was taken to the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) by Councillor Abbas Warasally, but nothing could be done as no vets were open at the time.
