Dundee SAPS recover ten flat screen televisions

The Visible Policing Unit, Task Team and local detectives arrested four men wanted on various charges during a crime sweep.

Police has recovered ten screen televisions, stolen from homes around Dundee. Anyone wishing to claim one of the screens as their own must report to the police station with proof of ownership.
Burglaries continue to plague the town with police responding to 13 from August 4-12.
Thieves targeted various household appliances – televisions, microwaves, stoves, blankets, water pumps etc. Police spokesman, Captain V Mbense, warned people not to buy stolen goods. Those found in possession of stolen goods will be arrested and charged, he warned.

Mvikeleni Hlathswayo (30) of Ezakheni, Nkosikhona Mabaso (18) of Ladysmith, Thembelani Shezi (19) from Ladysmith and Siphelele Zulu (27) from Lindelani in Dundee have appeared in Court on various charges.
