Sewer leak threatens clinic, Temple

The Courier has since alerted Umzinyathi - a spokesperson of which said workmen would be dispatched to the scene.

Umzinyathi District Municipality workers have been alerted to attend to a sewer leak near the Glencoe Hindu Temple and adjacent Glenridge Clinic.

Ward Councillor, Dr Sandy Bedassi, said this happens ‘fairly frequently’.  “The man hole near the Temple overflows and this happens often.  It is a terrible health hazard.  The clinic is just across the road. We were also disappointed with the response we received from the Call Centre when we called in to report the problem.”
