Bakkies collide on N11, causing traffic delays

Two bakkies collided earlier today (August 23) on the N11 (Newcastle road) near the Thompson Road intersection.

Public Safety officers and emergency personnel responded to the scene.

Two people were treated by paramedics for slight injuries sustained and then taken to hospital.

Public Safety officers conducted traffic control. Traffic delays were caused due to motorists passing the scene with caution.

Towing services also responded to the scene of the crash.
