ML Sultan receives highly recommended at science expo

"We went to Eskom Expo for young scientists. We learnt a lot. It was quite a great experience"

Learners from grades three to seven were given an opportunity to attend the Regional Science Expo in Ladysmith on August 4.

From ML Sultan Estcourt Primary School, Abenathi Nkabinde received a certificate for her project “Scientific inventions are harmful to Mankind”. Melissa Robi and Nokwanda Shabalala in grade six impressed the judges with their project “Youth Pregnancy”.

Learners were commended for their hard work.

The School Management Team would like to thank parents not only for their support but also for attending the science expo.

Melissa Robi, a grade six learner writes: “We went to Eskom Expo for young scientists. We learnt a lot. It was quite a great experience. We didn’t go there for winning. We went to represent our school and to see different projects. We, the grade six learners got bronze for our projects. We all tried our best.”
