Nappy drive receives donation to restore dignity of dependents

The nappy drive aims to collect one million nappies, and the community is requested to support to this worthy initiative.

Non-profit organisation, Women’s Fortè, is forging ahead with its nappy drive campaign.

Jamilah Jadwat, a pharmacist at Scott Street Pharmacy, donated much-needed nappies towards the organisation’s nappy drive.

These nappies will be distributed to old age homes, orphanages and rehabilitation centres in town.

“We thank Scott Street Pharmacy for its donation, and challenge other businesses to match or better their donation,” said organiser, Cicilia Pieterse.

The nappy drive aims to collect one million nappies, and the community is requested to support to this worthy initiative.

Women’s Fortè also encouraged the community to donate any unwanted items that could be converted into cash, for the purchase of nappies.

“We will accept any form of cash and nappy donation.”
