Warning: Pit Bulls are being stolen from homes around Ladysmith
The owners told Annamarie Koen of the AACL that their yards are fully fenced and walled, yet the dogs went missing
A warning goes out to the owners of Pit Bull Terriers and dog lovers, as Pit Bulls are being stolen from homes around Ladysmith.
Five Pit Bulls were stolen during the past two weeks in town, with one of the dogs being recovered by its owner.
One owner took matters into his own hands and found his dog in the Steadville area.
Speaking to Annamarie Koen of the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL), she said that the owners of the dogs had come to her and told her about the problem they are facing.

Two Pit Bulls went missing from the Limit Hill area, with another two going missing from Acaciavale, and a male dog also going missing. The latter is light-brown in colour and about a year old.
The owners told Annamarie that their yards are fully fenced and walled, yet the dogs just vanished.
Annamarie warns all Pit Bull and dog owners to be vigilant and keep their dogs safe, as they are being stolen from very secure yards.
If anyone has information leading to the whereabouts of the missing dogs, they can contact Annamarie on 0761511784
